GARDEN OF GRACE MINISTRY
You are invited to join the Garden Ministry, The UMCEG Garden of Grace Ministry. Pastor Carol and I need a team to help us oversee the church garden. Do you love to garden or have knowledge of gardening or landscaping that you would be willing to share? Please join this ministry! All forms of support are needed to help our garden flourish and grow. No zoom meetings. Help a little or a lot. Let's meet in the garden and share ideas. Stop by the church and see how The Garden of Grace is already growing. Charlene Price Cljprice@gmail.com
If you would like to purchase a brick for the garden you can find out more info and download the form here

Mathewson Street UMC Mission Opportunity
The East Greenwich church supports the Mathewson Street Church in Providence with donations and volunteer workers for its various outreach projects to individuals in need.
Volunteers make pancakes on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the church kitchen and deliver them to Mathewson Street UMC to be served the next day as part of a complete breakfast. To volunteer to make pancakes, or to get more information, there is a Sign-up Genius link on the church’s website, or you may email the church secretary at egumc@aol.com or call 401-884-4221
Food donations are appreciated: the box in the narthex of the church is the collection location for bottled water, juice boxes, individually packaged cookies and snacks, granola bars, sandwich bags, brown paper lunch bags, and other items that are listed on the poster above the box. Clothing and blankets are also needed.
The folks at Mathewson Street are considering resuming the Sunday Fellowship Breakfast on site, which has been on hold during the Covid pandemic, in the near future. At that point, they will need volunteers for preparing potatoes one Saturday a month for breakfast on Sunday. There will also be opportunities to help serve breakfast. This information will be updated when available.
